01

Who we are

The Encrypse LLC ("Encrypse", "we", "us", "our") is the data controller responsible for the personal information collected through this website. A data controller is the party that decides how and why your information is processed.

Our head office is at Suite 109, 3930 Fulton Dr NW, Canton, OH 44718, United States. We also operate from 28 Obanikoro Street, Obanikoro, Lagos, Nigeria, and from the United Kingdom. You can reach our privacy team at info@encrypse.com.

This policy applies to encrypse.com. Our separate products, such as Home Health, Recydeé, CrypseVault and our Clinical Research CRM, are run on their own websites and may have their own privacy notices. Where they do, those notices govern your use of those products.

02

The information we collect

We collect information in three ways: what you give us, what we gather automatically, and what we receive from other sources.

Information you give us

  • Contact details you enter into our forms, such as your name, email address and the company you represent.
  • The content of any message you send us, including enquiries about partnerships, client work, careers or the press.
  • Any information you choose to include when you email us or subscribe to updates.

Information we collect automatically

  • Technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system and language settings.
  • Usage data such as the pages you visit, the links you click, and how long you spend on the site.
  • Cookies and similar technologies, as described in our Cookie Policy. Non-essential cookies are only used with your consent.

Information from third parties

  • Analytics providers who help us understand how the site is used.
  • Professional networks and public sources, where you have made business contact details available and we are following up on a legitimate enquiry.
03

How we use your information

We use personal information to run our website and respond to you, never to build hidden profiles or sell you out.

  • To respond to your enquiries and provide the information or introductions you ask for.
  • To operate, maintain, secure and improve encrypse.com.
  • To send you updates you have asked to receive, and to manage those subscriptions.
  • To understand how the site is used so we can make it better.
  • To protect our business and users against fraud, abuse and security threats.
  • To meet our legal, regulatory and accounting obligations.
05

When we share your information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We share it only in these limited situations:

  • Service providers who process data on our behalf under contract, such as hosting, email delivery and analytics partners. They may only use it to provide services to us.
  • Other companies within the Encrypse group, where needed to respond to your enquiry or run our operations, subject to this policy.
  • Professional advisers such as lawyers, accountants and insurers, where reasonably necessary.
  • Authorities and regulators, where we are required to comply with the law, a court order or a lawful request.
  • A buyer or successor, if we are involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.
06

International data transfers

Encrypse operates across the United States, Nigeria and the United Kingdom, so your information may be transferred to and processed in a country other than your own. Data protection laws in those countries may differ from the laws where you live.

Whenever we transfer personal information across borders, we put appropriate safeguards in place. For transfers subject to the UK GDPR or EU GDPR, we rely on adequacy decisions where they exist, or on Standard Contractual Clauses (with the UK International Data Transfer Addendum where relevant). For transfers subject to the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023, we transfer personal data only where the destination provides an adequate level of protection or another lawful basis for transfer under the Act applies. You can contact us for more detail about the safeguards we use.

07

How long we keep it

We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy, or for as long as the law requires.

  • Enquiry and correspondence data: for as long as needed to deal with your request and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you contact us again.
  • Marketing data: until you unsubscribe or withdraw your consent, after which we retain a minimal record to honour your choice.
  • Analytics and technical data: for a limited period, usually in aggregated or de-identified form.

When we no longer need your information, we securely delete or anonymise it.

08

How we protect your information

We take security seriously; it is one of the things we build products around. We use technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk, including encryption in transit, access controls, and limiting who can see your data to those who need it.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affects your personal information and the law requires it, we will notify you and the relevant regulator within the timeframes set by applicable law, including under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023, the UK GDPR and applicable US state breach-notification laws.

09
